Accessibility Statement — Novoli

English courtesy translation. The Hebrew text is authoritative; this translation carries no independent legal force.

1. General

Novoli is a household-management app for families in Israel. We want the service to be usable and available to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

This statement is written in accordance with the guidelines of Israeli Standard IS 5568 (the Internet Content Accessibility Standard) for accessibility statements, and in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Accommodations), 5773-2013.

2. The service's current accessibility status, and the exemption that applies to us

As of the date this statement was last updated, no formal accessibility audit and no full accessibility-accommodation process under IS 5568 have been carried out on the service. We are stating this openly, so as not to create a false impression of standard compliance.

As of the date this statement was last updated, Novoli is a service whose average annual turnover does not exceed NIS 100,000. Under regulation 35ו(ז) of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Accommodations), a party in this position is exempt from performing the accessibility accommodations set out in the chapter on internet services. In practice, this means no full technical accessibility work has been carried out on the service — a fact we wanted to state plainly here, rather than obscure behind general wording.

Regulation 35ו(ג) provides that a duty-bearer who has received an exemption shall provide alternative accessibility and publish, in the accessibility statement under regulation 35ה, both the fact of the exemption and the alternative accommodations. Whether it also reaches the regulation 35ו(ז) exemption — which arises by operation of law rather than being "received" — is arguable. We have chosen not to rely on that argument: we publish below both the fact of the exemption and the alternative we actually offer, as the regulation requires of someone who did receive one.

Accessibility is a goal we want to progress toward, not only a requirement we happen to be exempt from. Reports from users will help us know where to invest first.

The alternative accommodation we offer is direct human assistance: if any part of the service is not usable for you, write to us and a person will walk you through the action, or carry it out for you. This is a real accommodation rather than a form of words — the service is run by one person, and direct assistance is what he can commit to and actually keep.

3. Accessibility coordinator

The duty to publish an accessibility coordinator's details here applies, under regulation 35ה, only to a party who is legally obligated to appoint one. Novoli is currently operated by Ronny Or (רוני אור) as a private individual, with no employees and no employing entity, and no accessibility coordinator has been appointed to date. If and when such an obligation comes to apply to the service, the coordinator's details will be added to this statement.

4. Contact us about accessibility

Have you run into an accessibility difficulty, or do you have a request to make specific content or a specific action in the service accessible? You can reach us by email at privacy@novoliapp.com. We undertake to reply within 7 days, and to carry out the alternative accommodation as soon as possible from receipt of the message, as regulation 35א(ד)(2) requires. Such a message may also serve as a demand under regulation 35א(ד)(1) of the regulations.

If possible, it helps to mention in your message the page or screen where you encountered the difficulty, and the device or browser you were using — this helps us understand and act faster, though it is not a condition for reaching out.
